The Indian army has initiated a project called Ladakh Ignited Minds to provide better educational opportunities for Ladakhi Students.

About

Fire and Fury corps (Indian Army) signed few MoUs with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and a NGO of Kanpur named, National Integrity and Educational Development Organization (NIEDO) in Leh on 26th April, 2021.

The main aim of the project is to provide training facility to disadvantages students of Ladakh so that they can get opportunity to study in best educational institutes of the country. The Project ‘Ladakh Ignited Minds: A Centre of Excellence and Wellness’ is an effort to maintain cordial Civil and Defence relations and bright future for Ladakhi Youth.

The first batch will comprise of 45 students including both boys and girls who will be provided training for JEE and NEET entrance examinations.

The infrastructure required for this project and teacher requirement will be fulfilled within 15 days.

This project is going to strengthen the vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
